The video below shows some gory ways you can die in Aliens vs Predator. Because of this trailer the game was temporarily banned in Australia. Honestly it’s exactly what I’d except from a next gen AVP game. I wonder what kind of weapons the predator will have this time around, mwhahahah.

Aliens vs Predator Demo Is Coming

Great news for long time AVP fans. A demo of the next generation of AVP carnage is coming. Hopefully the demo includes multiplayer, if not it would be cool if you could choose to play as the Predator, Alien or Marine. The game is out on February 16th, 2010. So the demo should be out in a few weeks max I’d imagine.
“There will be a demo…That’s all we can say,” said AvP lead designer Alex Moore in an interview with AvPGalaxy. As you might guess from the “that’s all we can say,” he didn’t mention the date or platforms.

Honestly I’m disappointed that there isn’t a Predator related item. Don’t get me wrong the Facehugger is pretty cool. But what about the die hard Predator fans? Other than that, the Hunter Edition looks pretty sweet. The Release date for Aliens vs Predator is February 16th, 2010. The Hunter Edition includes the following:
Four Multiplayer maps (before they release to the general public), a fully articulated and disturbingly creepy Facehugger model, Weyland Yutani sleeve badge, and a 3D lenticular postcard. Dark Horse Comics featuring the original Aliens vs Predator comic. Collectible Steelbook packaging. To sweeten the deal, if you pre-order you can pick up some exclusive skins for all three species in multiplayer.

Looks like it’s coming along nicely. This is a must have for me, I’ve been wanting a next gen version since AVP2. Technically this is AVP3, but they are calling it Aliens vs Predator. Hopefully they do it justice. Which will you be? Hunter, Survivor or Prey? I’ll try out all 3, but my all time favorite is Predator. Look for me in the shadows, mwhahahaha.

I hope you get to play as the face hugger in multiplayer. That was fun stuff in AVP 2. Unless the players where cheap and waited for you to burst out of there chest .. Wonder if you can still regain health by eating your victims like in the last game. Anyway, looks like this is coming along nicely. This is a must have title for me.
