This good looking new trailer was just released by EA.
For $14.99 on the PSN, this DLC promises to be pretty big. There will be four new maps, fifteen weapons and six vehicles that are all based on the Vietnam War during the ’60s.
According to a tweet by Ben Cousins, general manager of EA’s Easy studio, a new Battlefield game will be announced this Friday. “Flying to London later today to show a new, unannounced #Battlefield game to the press. News goes public on Friday. (NOT #BF3)” He also noted that , “Just to confirm – I am NOT going to London to announce any game called ‘Battlefield Assault’. That is just a URL EA picked up.” as well as stating that this will be a completely new title.
Stay tuned as we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get the news!
Electronic Arts has announced that the upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam expansion is going to run you $14.99, or 1200 MS Points.
The Vietnam expansion will pit United States Marines against the North Vietnamese Army on four new maps, each of which will support Conquest and Rush modes. Toss in new era-specific weapons and vehicles (along with new achievements and trophies), and the price tag isn’t looking that bad. It’ll be available for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 later this year.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 geeks are going to be in for a treat today and tomorrow as DICE release their eagerly awaited Onslaught Mode. The new mode is due to hit the US today (22nd June) with Europe getting a taste of the action tomorrow (23rd June).
With the price of the mode expected to be around $9.99 (US) and 8.99 Euros, I’m sure fans of the franchise will pull out their wallet blindfolded to pay for the expansion pack. The new mode is to be a 4-player co-op mode facing waves of computer controlled enemies. If you think you’re just going to spawn, run around like a lunatic and shoot everything that moves – think again!
The maps which will feature this mode are Valpariso, Atacama Desert, Isla Innocentes and Nelson Bay. This feature is sure to keep you busy for quite some time until the much talked about Vietnam pack hits the BC2 store this Winter.
Soldiers – at ease!
