Today’s PLAYSTATION Store Update brings us news of Bionic Commando Rearmed. We can download and play it today. Yay! We also get a 1942: Joint Strike demo.

IGN loves Bionic Commando Rearmed, giving it a 9.4 score out of 10. The game supports two player offline co-op, which makes it a must buy for me!

Bionic Commando Rearmed is an upcoming PSN downloadable title that, if I remember correctly, will go for about $10. The cool thing about the game is that it has a co-op mode. Yay!
Unfortunately, for those of you who care about this kind of thing, co-op is not available online, just offline. Meh. It’s more fun that way anyway.

It’s cool that this game supports four player gameplay, but unfortunately it’s not to go through the campaign together. At least it’s something!

Bionic Commando: Rearmed

A complete remake of the old NES favorite Bionic Commando title is coming to PSN this May. This remake has a major graphics overhaul plus co-op and an assortment of other enhancements.
Here is a gameplay clip. You can see, the gameplay is still the same, and it’s a very traditional 2D platformer, but all the graphics have been 3D modeled.
The price is set at $10, which sounds like a great value.
