A Toronto couple recently celebrated their nuptials in Bioshock style. They played period music, designed pseudo-deco programs, and had rather an awesome cupcake tower in lieu of a cake, which featured a big daddy, little sister, and edible blue morpho butterflies. Check out their photo album. I suppose that an actual cosplay ceremony would be a bit too much to ask. How would one kiss the bride with one’s head in a freaky fishbowl?

So over on the official PS3 Blog Chris Morell the Senior Specalist for Social Media had a chance to sit down with Senior Producer Melissa Miller and Lead Environment Artist Hogarth de la Plante this past Monday to answer some Tweets from BioShock fans. Nothing like getting some BioShock 2 goodness with less than a week before the release.
The video is a little over 9 minutes and for those who were wondering if DLC will be available will have to play the video.
I remember reading that these were coming out in fiscal 2010 (which can be late 2009 by take-two’s fiscal calendar), but now, I see a quote that these are definitely calendar 2010 games:
13:54: Feder confirms that Mafia II, Max Payne 3, Red Dead Redemption and BioShock 2 will be released in the first half of calendar 2010.
I was just about to comment about how surprisingly quiet the the preview coverage was, particularly for big-name titles like Rockstar’s GTA-like Red Dead Redemption and the sequel to one of the most talked about games of 2007, Bioshock 2. Now, it’s clear why it’s so quiet.
Still plenty to look forward to this year.
Sorry if this is old news for many of you.
