Well this doesn’t happen to often. We get details of a firmware update before it arrives, lol. But this is how it should be every time. Usually it’s released late one night and the gaming forums try to figure out the changes all night.
Check out the list below for all the details. It should arrive in the next few days according to Sony.
*BD-Live functionality
* The ability to copy PS3 Music and Photo playlists to a PSP system. We introduced the ability to create Music and Photo playlists on the PS3 in firmware update v2.0. Now you can easily export your playlists to your PSP.
* You can now play DivX and WMV format files that are over 2 GB.
* Resume Play - begin playing a DVD or BD disc from the point where you previously stopped it, even if you eject the disc and insert a different movie or game.
* Use your PSP as a remote control to play back your music files on your PS3 without turning on your TV.
* The Internet browser now displays some web pages faster. In addition [Save Target] has been added as an option under file. This option lets you save a file that is linked to a web page to your PS3 hard drive or storage media.
This week we only have two movies. What would you do if you where the last human on earth because of a virus that wiped out or mutated everyone else and was against you? Study this film in case this ever happens. Then we have the flip side. A family friendly movie, which is about a princess thrown into the real world. It’s a spoof on all the Princess / Happily Ever After Disney movies.
Overall a slow week. But almost 40 blu-ray movies are currently slated for April according to Blu-ray’s website.

Pc : Yeah, the custom soundtrack menu is in the game's options menu.
Rjcc : ah, I found the custom soundtrack in the pause menu, I just assumed I'd be able to use through the XMB.
Rjcc : also, why do I have a friends list if I can't send invites to my friends to play with me?
Rjcc : How do you use the custom soundtrack? I pulled up the XMB and went to my mp3s and it said I can't play them during the game.
Pc : Looks great, plays great, and has alot of features for $20.
Pc : Wipeout HD is awesome ! I really like the custom soundtrack option you have in the option menu. Whats good about it, is that the music plays when it should, not all the time like it does on the 360. The music even echoes when you go into a tunnel.
Tosh Hatch : Wipeout HD is out! Look under View by Title
