Any Borderlanders out there eagerly awaiting Borderlands 2 this summer? I guess there’s probably one or two of you…
Gearbox today announced on their Borderlands facebook page that Borderlands 2 would detect saved games from the first Borderlands and unlock some free content, (the picture says it all really). So don’t delete your old games just yet, and if you already have? Well, you should get playing!
Borderlands 2 Has NOT Been Confirmed
Posted by in Borderlands, QuickNews on February 10th, 2011
A quote from Gearbox president Randy Pitchford that read, “‘I’m sure Duke will have some demands of me and I’ve gotta work on Borderlands 2, right?’ (laughs),” was mistakenly assumed to be a confirmation the Borderlands 2 was in development. That is from an interview on vg247.com here.
They have just confirmed that that was NOT a confirmation of Borderlands 2.

Some More PlayStation Plus Goodies
Posted by Jay in Battlefield 1943, Borderlands, PlayStation Plus, PS3 software, PSP Minis, Sales on December 8th, 2010

Sony is being rather generous this holiday season, announcing even more stuff heading to PlayStation Plus subscribers. For starters, members will be able to download the beta for the SOE MMO title, DC Universe Online (although no date or time has been set just yet).
On the December 21st update, there will also be a free trial of Borderlands for those who haven’t played it yet, but want to see what it’s about (I might give this one a try). You also get another free Mini, a discount on Battlefield: 1943, and a whole bunch of new* NeoGeo games.
Be sure to check the tab for the full update.

The Borderlands Level Cap Increase Patch is Now Live
Posted by in Borderlands, QuickNews on November 4th, 2010
I know some of us were waiting for this patch before we started playing the newest Claptrap DLC, so I wanted to announce that it is live!! My PS+ downloaded and installed it for me last night while I slept! This patch changes the level cap from 61 to 69 across all Borderland players, regardless if they have purchased an expansion pack or not. The update will also scale enemies based on your level and will allow looting of better weapons as well. This also fixed some Claptrap bugs that was keeping players from earning certain trophies for the expansion.
Borderlands Will Get Another Level Cap Update Soon
