The Game of the Year edition of Borderlands will include early access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo, most likely the same one shown at PAX West not too long ago. There is currently no word when that demo will become available, just that those who buy the game will get early access to it.
Gearbox president Randy Pitchford recently said that the level cap for one of my favorite games, Borderlands will be going up another 8 levels from 61 to 69. They are adding the new level cap via a free patch. This is so that those who haven’t purchased the previous DLC can still achieve the new level caps when the newest DLC adding 10 new missions goes live this month.
Gearbox announced that Borderlands game of the year edition will be released in October 2010, and it will include the three current DLC packages, the upcoming fourth DLC, and a collectible map of the gameworld Pandora. It will retail for 59.99 USD on the PS3 and 360, and for 49.99 USD on the PC.
Gearbox and 2K have officialy announced a fourth DLC for Borderlands. This is by far one of my all time favorite games, and is highly overlooked in my opinon. This DLC adds 20 new missions, 10 more skill points, three more backpack slots, new enemies including crab-traps, rakk-traps and skag-trapps, boss battles, and of course lots of new loot. The newest Borderlands DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx will be available from the PSN store this Thursday, Feb. 25th. The main website has also been updated with some new screenshots. This add-on looks really good. Read more about it in my post here.
