The Bulletstorm Nutcracker Winner is…

Don’t forget, the Bulletstorm demo is now available on the PSN and is receiving rave reviews. Make sure you test it out, because this is gonna be one not to miss. Also, “The Bulletstorm demo also allows players to unlock platform-specific upgrades to use in the game’s Anarchy mode, from the Crimson Leash to Stealth Armour, when they purchase the full game.”

Win a Very Rare Bulletstorm Nutcracker (Right Here on PS3blog.net) & Details on Winning a Bulletstorm PS3 Console!

Well look what the great people over at Epic sent us to giveaway!! This very rare nutcracker stands about 1 foot tall, and is sealed in a beautifully designed art box. This Nutcracker is based on the “Creep” enemy in Bulletstorm. The “Nutcracker” is also the name of one of the many “Skillshots” available in the game.
To win this very cool nutcracker, you need to first download the demo of Bulletstorm and play it. Take a photo of your best score and post that picture here in the comments. If you are having issues, you can also email your picture to me at oly[at]ps3blog[dot]net and then post that you did that here in the comments. The winner will be chosen at random, meaning having the highest score doesn’t matter. The deadline for submitting your picture, as well as the drawing, will be one week from today, Tuesday February 1st at about 3PM Pacific time. Depending on the number of entries, I might add a very cool second place prize!!
Bulletstorm is also giving away a PS3 console tomorrow, Jan. 26th, for doing the exact same thing.

Bulletstorm Demo Blows Up PSN Today!

FPS Fans unite! The Bulletstorm demo will be live along with the PSN Store update later today (US). The demo will show off the game’s signature “Echo” mode, which Epic describes as “a unique experience that tracks and compares players’ scores while they play through locations found in the campaign.” Bulletstorm will be released on February 22.

Here are some more “Ridiculous Ways to Rack Up Points for kills in Bulletstorm.” This game looks to be brutally good. The problem I have with it is that most likely sells for PS3 will be a little lacking due to the release day of 2/22/2011 being the same as Killzone 3. Hopefully the game is so good it wont matter.

EA just announced that a Bulletstorm demo will be available for download through the PSN on January 25 in North America, and on January 26 in Europe.
