EA Pulls Crysis 2 Demo….
The PS3 version of Crysis 2 has had its problems and it appears EA doesn’t want to take any chances. From the Crysis 2 Blog:
“Thank you for your interest in the PlayStation 3 version of the Crysis 2 multiplayer demo. Though many gamers have had a great experience playing the demo, we are aware that others have been experiencing server connection delays. We’ve identified the root cause and have decided to close the PS3 demo in the next 24 hours to ensure all issues are resolved when the game launches next week. Our priority is to ensure that the final product is flawless at launch.”

Crytek Calls out IGN
I’m sure most of you saw that IGN bashed the PS3 version of Crysis 2. I’m not going to link to the article because they obviously played the fan boy card for hits. Executive Producer Nathan Camarillo put the article to rest during an interview with Jeff Rubenstein of the PlayStation Blog.
I’ve gone on the record saying that if you stick PS3 and 360 side by side I would challenge anyone to find any meaningful difference. I don’t see it at all.
EA, Crysis 2 Demo on PS3 Having Technical Issues
The Crysis 2 demo hit the PSN last night but it’s had nothing but issues from the start. When I try to connect to a game all it does is clock and then times out. I noticed a bunch of other people having the same issues. Hit the jump for EA’s official statement:
Crysis 2 In-Game PS3 Screens For You
Seeming as there is a lack of content on the PlayStation 3 version of Crysis 2 and some articles claiming it is not up to snuff, I thought we could put that to rest with some in game PS3 Screens. I tried to get you some Multilayer screens including Character menu’s and general menu screens as well. The game is not high up on my must have list, as I go to PC first when I can, but the game does look extremely promising on the PS3.
Crysis 2 Gameplay on PS3 with a “Demo Coming Soon” Announced
“Watch Alcatraz clash with the alien invasion in the second installment of The Crysis 2 Experience “Semper Fi”. Continuing the tradition of raw, unfiltered gameplay, this footage captured on the PlayStation 3 shows a snippet from the singleplayer level “Semper Fi or Die”.
The end of this gameplay footage teases at a Multiplayer PS3 Demo coming soon. The game is set to release on March 22nd in the US, and a PC demo on March 1st, so I expect the Demo will release within the next couple weeks for the PSN.
