Fallout New Vegas Q & A
Posted by EdEN in Fallout: New Vegas, PS3, QuickNews on October 14th, 2010
You can go over to Playstation.Blog to read an extensive Q & A for the soon to be released new game in the Fallout franchise. I’m thinking about buying the collector’s edition but might wait until it goes down in price so I get the extras and sell the game itself since we all know there’ll be a GOTY edition out by the end of next year. For me the most interesting info is how Hardcore mode will work and since we all love trophies…

Perlman narrates Fallout: New Vegas
Posted by premiersoupir in Fallout: New Vegas, Previews, PS3 on August 14th, 2010

Ron Perlman voices the introductory narration to the latest in the Fallout series, New Vegas, as he has done since the first Fallout game in 1997. Want to check out New Vegas’s introduction early? MTV has a (rather lo-fi) audio recording of Perlman’s intro, plus a transcript. You may recognize Perlman from titles like “The Name of the Rose” (1986), “Beauty and the Beast” (1990), “La Cité des enfants perdus” (“City of Lost Children,” 1995), and “Hellboy” (2004). There are plenty more great voice actors in the game, according to Bethesda Softworks, including Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek: The Next Generation), Rene Auberjonois (Odo of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), and Felicia Day (“The Guild,” “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”), Matthew Perry (yes, of “Friends”)… and singer Wayne “Mr. Las Vegas” Newton, believe it or not. Sounds like a compelling line-up!
Fallout: New Vegas is slated for North American release on October 19, 2010.
Fallout New Vegas Coaster Promotion
Posted by LOKO117 in Fallout: New Vegas on August 9th, 2010
Yesterday marked the beginning of a promotion that should get Fallout fans thirsty. K-Mart is running an exclusive in-store promo on a Fallout New Vegas coaster set, pictured below.
This eight coaster set will only set you back $5 and is limited to one per customer. What makes this deal really attractive is the coupon you will receive with purchase that gives you $15 off any video game purchase on the week of October 19th, the date of Fallout New Vegas’ release.
The assumption is, customers will use the coupon to purchase Fallout New Vegas but it will be good for any video game purchase during that week. The deal is “only good while supplies last,” so don’t wait too long. I’ll race you to K-Mart
