Haze Goes PS3 Exclusive

No matter what some people argue, I believe that exclusive titles can only help a platform. That’s why I was glad to hear that the previously timed-exclusive game (as far as we knew), Haze, is now a real exclusive. Haze is a shooter that’ll be coming out this fall exclusively for the PLAYSTATION 3, and no PC or 360 versions are currently in development or planned.

Haze currently has 17% of the fall shooter vote, according to our informal poll. I’ll definitely be renting it myself, and if it impresses, I might even pick it up. They seem to be giving us everything we want in a shooter, especially some good multiplayer options.

Haze GDC ’07 Cam Footage

What happens if you cross Haze with MotorStorm? Something like this maybe:

Despite it being far too bright, I was impressed by the dust during the explosions but it looked a little boring. I never enjoyed the vehicle based missions in Resistance either but I’m still looking forward to Haze later this year.

Four player co-op!!!

Heavenly Sword UK Date Announced

UK PS3 owners can pick up Heavenly Sword in just over 4 weeks time:

Confirmed retail release dates for Heavenly Sword are September 14 in the UK with the rest of Europe following on September 19.

I’m 90% sure that I’m going to buy it. The demo grew on me the more I played it and I soon got over not being able to jump. I hope they’ve fixed the screen tearing and other glitches though.

GamerTV Looks at Lair, TimeSplitters 4

In their latest episode, GamerTV gives Lair 3/5 mostly, it seems, because of missions that are lacking in creativity, and the total lack of any multiplayer. Other than that, they seemed to like it. If you’re at all interested in TimeSplitters 4, you might want to check out the video because there’s some footage of the game. Plus there’s a tiny tiny tiny little bit on Haze.
