Infamous 2 Alternate Costume and Infamous 2 Static Theme Giveaway!

Welcome to yet another PS3blog.net giveaway! This time around we will be giving out some codes for some Infamous 2 goodies. The first item up for grabs is an Infamous 2 alternate costume download. Obviously you can’t download the item just yet, but when the game launches, you could have the code in hand ready to go. Next we have an Infamous 2 static PS3 Theme which of course you can grab immediately after winning the code.
So cutting to the chase…the rules of entry. To enter, you must be a registered member of PS3blog.net. It’s quick and easy and will only take you less then a minute or two to register.
What we want to hear from you, in light of the new mission building concept recently outed at GDC, are what type of missions would you build in Infamous 2? In the comments below, just shortly outline the type of mission you would build as well as the goal. Be sure to mention whether it is a good or evil choice.
Winners will be chosen at random on Thursday March 10th at 8PM EST, with the first place winner getting the alternate costume and the second place winner will get the static theme.

GDC 2011: Infamous 2 Gets a Bomb Shell!

Fresh out of the gates of GDC comes a killer announcement for infamous 2. Infamous 2 has a Mission creator. Think Little Big Planet but with Infamous and you’re getting how expansive this game can be. Better yet, you will have a chance to beta this on March 14th! Good news for any fan of the series. IGN had this to say on the new mode:
New Details on inFAMOUS 2, Socom 4, Dead Space 2 & Killzone 3 Tonight on Spike!

Kyle from GTTV was kind enough to send us word, that they are going to be revealing some new and exciting details tonight on Spike. Information will cover games from inFAMOUS 2, and Socom 4 to new DLC info for Dead Space 2 and new maps for Killzone 3.
New inFAMOUS 2 Gameplay + Leaked Hero Edition

If you’ve played the original Infamous you would know that throughout the game, you can either choose good or bad actions that effect the outcome of the story line. In Infamous 2, it seems as though the Karma system was “revamped”. Sucker Punch’s Brain Fleming said:
“We got feedback from fans that some of the choices felt too mechanical, and they wanted their choices to have more meaning in the narrative and in the world,” Fleming wrote. “So, our challenge with Infamous 2 was to make these choices more real, more believable, and yet still keep them visible and clear to the players.”
Blow Things Up
Now pulled from Amazon.com obviously was the ‘Hero Edition’ of Infamous 2. Luckily someone one saw it and got the contents of it before it was taken down from Amazon. The special edition of the game will run you $99.99 and will include the following:
- 8.5″ Cole Macgrath statue
- Replica Cole MacGrath sling pack
- Super Voucher which unlocks in-game content – the Lightning Hook Power, Electrocution Grenade Power, Kessler Skin and a 24K Gold Amp weapon variant
- Mini inFamous #1 comic from DC Comics and
- Official inFamous 2 soundtrack
The official description from Amazon is below and inFamous 2 will be out on May 24th apparently exclusively for the Playstation 3.
