Joe Danger The Movie (or Joe Danger 2)
Posted by Oly in Joe Danger, Joe Danger the Movie, Media on August 10th, 2012
Have you ever run out of the cinema, done a pretend back flip, shot your friends with your fingers and shouted “Ice to meet you”?
Good. This is the game you’ve been waiting for.Picking up where the chart topping, award winning “Joe Danger” finished, take the world’s most determined stuntman to Hollywood, on the set of the greatest action film ever made. “Joe Danger 2 The Movie” is the game that allows you to out run an avalanche as a skiing secret agent, take on laser spewing robots whilst flying a jetpack, or even become a water-skiing, sky-diving, quad-biking, dinosaur dodging jungle adventurer.
Joe Danger was great fun and this looks to be even better. I’ll definitely be picking it up when it is released “Sometime in 2012″.
“People’s Patch” Released for Joe Danger
Posted by Jay in Joe Danger on August 26th, 2010
This game is awesome. Let me just get that out of the way. Anyway, after releasing a demo last week, Hello Games has now released a new patch for the title that adds in a bunch of new features (and it’s free). Can’t say there’s anything not worth it! Here’s what’s included:
- Level sharing and more Levels
- Replays and YouTube support
- Custom soundtracks
- More multiplayer levels
- New level editing props
- Costumes
- Downloadable tours
- Hidden stuff!
- Lots more
The game is about 200% better than it was, and that’s saying a lot. The official website will also be showcasing the best user-created levels, and are also holding a level design competition. This game is insane, and if you haven’t picked it up, with that patch alone, it’s totally worth it! In fact, read my review here.

Joe Danger Demo Riding onto the PSN Tomorrow
Posted by Luke in Joe Danger, PS3, PSN on August 16th, 2010
Seems like just yesterday, I was reading how developers have a hard time releasing demos due to expenses and time. I think it’s safe to say that the “Hello Games” team is no longer part of that group. It seems that they’ve done pretty well for themselves. When the Joe Danger game released, the team managed to sell 50k units on the PSN in the first week alone. I’m no mathematician but if you sell a game for $14.99 and manage to sell 50k units it leads me to believe that you would do pretty well for yourself. Now of course there are expenses, but to my knowledge they aren’t as big as when you’re releasing the game digitally. We should all be happy with their success as I am sure this has helped in getting a demo created.

You know you have a real winner on your hands when a game says “Attempt 72” and you haven’t gotten overly frustrated. Such was the case with the PSN title, Joe Danger. Developed by Hello Games, a team consisting of four people. It puts you in control of the washed up has-been of a stunt rider, Joe Danger. In this game, your overall goal is to bring him back to his status as a legendary stunt man on the biggest comeback tour of his life. And what a ride it is.
Joe Danger 1st Impressions

With only 260mb of download size, the title is pretty impressive. Graphics are very polished and the learning curve is pratically null. I really did not like the in-game music, but there’s a patch coming up that will allow you to use your own music, as well as youtube uploading for impressing your friends with your wheelie skills.
One thing that I liked the most is that it automatically compares your score with your friends who also have the game. Jay, I’m coming for you, I kicked your butt in the first levels, but after that I was pwned…
Multiplayer is split screen only, and I did not test this feature. I suppose it’s lots of funs, but a network multiplayer or even ghost support will come in handy.
