Raiden is officially the 18th confirmed character on the roster of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Developer SuperBot Entertainment revealed Evil Cole MacGrath yesterday, and Spike, Ratchet, Dante and Sackboy were also shown at Gamescom.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be available in November for both PlayStation 3 and Vita.
SuperBot Entertainment announced today via the PlayStation Blog that PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be delayed a month.
“We know our fans have high expectations for this title, and to that end, we have decided to move the release date to November 20th, 2012 for North America (including Canada) and Latin America territories. This will let us spend more time polishing and tuning the game, and it will give us a chance to incorporate some of the great feedback we’re receiving from the current limited beta to ensure we are creating the best possible fighting game experience. While it is our greatest desire to put this game into the hands of our fans as soon as possible, we do not want to do so at the sake of quality. The additional time will be well worth the wait, and are excited to know that our fans will have the ultimate brawler in time for the holiday.”
Nathan Drake and Big Daddy were recently added to the growing roster of Sony’s upcoming (takes a deep breath) PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. A TV commercial is being filmed in Los Angeles at the moment and my source on set is feeding me really good info via text. From what she has gathered. Teams are being partnered up with Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Big Daddy, and a “blonde haired guy with goggles”.
More pictures and information will be updated as it is available. I am trying to get her to take a picture of “the blonde hair with goggles” guy and she said she will as soon as she can. “Right now the character playing Kratos is in make up getting air brushed painted and the production crew is still splitting the teams.” She writes.

Alright, let’s get the obvious out of the way. What does this game remind you of? What other game had themed levels based on the characters, or the worlds from which they came, within the game? You guessed it. Super Smash Brothers. Except this game has Kratos, a Helghan soldier, Sweet Tooth, and the hardest of hardcore, Parappa the Rapper.
The game was originally announced back in April, and had some gameplay footage then to go along with it. At E3, however, it was revealed that Drake and Big Daddy would also be characters, and that the title will also make its way onto the Vita, with cross platform play to boot. With the inclusion of third party characters, and given that Big Daddy is even a multiplatform character, who else can we expect in the roster?
Even though it seems like a rip off of SSB, it could still be a lot of fun, at least for quick spurts of fun. As a kid, I enjoyed going over to my neighbor’s house and having tournaments on the N64. Some PlayStation fans have never played those games, so this could be fresh to them.
GTTV just revealed the long rumored PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. The title is still in development SuperBot Entertainment but is set to release this holiday season! The character roster revealed so far includes Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Radec from Killzone, PaRappa the Rapper, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess. Third party characters were confirmed, but not revealed.
The Smash brothers type game, will allow up to four players, in a 1 vs 3, 2 vs 2, or free-for-all modes. All four players can choose the same character if they wish.
