Starhawk Beta Update

SCEA just launched version 1.3 of the Starhawk beta. The update introduces a new map called Planet Dust, a 32 player, huge map with new vehicles and weapons. The update also includes the Sidewinder Jetbike and the powerful OX tank, both shown in the video above.

Starhawk public beta is available for download on PSN. Get on the beta, and check out the multiplayer for yourself soon, as the beta will end on the 27th of this month.

Starhawk is scheduled for release on May 8th 2012. For more details visit the official Starhawk website.

Starhawk Beta is Now Open to All

The Starhawk Beta has finally opened to the public. To kick it off Harvard Bonin stopped by the Sony Blog to share some tips from the staff and top players.

Starhawk: Limited Edition Announced

The official PlayStation Blog revealed the limited edition of the upcoming PS3 exclusive third person shooter: Starhawk. The game is developed by LightBox Interactive and Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It will feature 2-4 split screen multiplayer and 32 players online.
You can acquire the limited edition for no additional costs by pre-ordering the game from Gamestop. The limited edition will include 2 DLC, the original soundtrack and a code to download Warhawk from the PlayStation store.

Starhawk Beta Is Going Public Tuesday Jan 17th!

The Starhawk beta is going public on the 17th! The public testing will allow the team to work out bugs and server issues as well as allow the public to get on what has otherwise been a closed beta up until now.

Games You Should Look Forward To In 2012

Bye Bye 2011, you were truly amazing in terms of first party exclusives and surprisingly good titles. It was a non-stop party ’til the very end. I’ve battled the Helghast on planet Helghan, jumped off a plane in Rub’ al Khali, journeyed through the Mississippi river to New York City looking for a way to save humanity, undergone augmentation to survive a vicious attack, base jumped off a cliff in Damavand Peak and climbed 600 stairs to the top of a mountain called the Throat of the World, searching for my destiny. I salute you 2011, but times have come for a new year and new games to look forward to.
