Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker confirmed for a HD remaster.

The announcement of PSP HD remaster series surprised us all. Not only will you be able to play Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in High Definition, you will also be able to upload your saved file in the PSP to the PS3 and play with the dualshock controller. If that deal is not sweet enough, Konami announced via jvn that the acclaimed Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker game will also see an HD remaster and will be playable at next month’s E3 expo!

Stay tuned with us as we will be attending E3 to give you our readers a fresh look and reports from Los Angeles!

“Big Boss” Pack for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker [Update]

On June 8th, alongside with the release of the standalone game, Konami will be releasing a special, limited edition Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker bundle (this isn’t the Entertainment Pack that was previously announced, though). It will sell for an MSRP of $199.99 at GameStop, in the US.

Canadian residents will only receive the previously announced Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP Entertainment Pack. Both the Big Boss Pack and the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker PSP Entertainment Pack will feature a movie. Canadian residents will get a UMD version while U.S. residents will receive a PlayStation Network movie voucher.

Here’s a list of what’s included, from the Official Blog:

  • “Camouflage” PSP-3000 system
  • Voucher for in-game content unlockable early on in the game
  • PlayStation Network downloadable movie voucher — title to be announced (UMD will be available for Canadian residents)
  • 4GB Memory Stick PRO Duo
  • Premium carrying case

You often wonder why the PSPGo isn’t doing too hot. The 3000 seems to always get all the love! The Go would probably sell a lot better if they stepped up their marketing on it, and included bundles like this themselves. Until then, the 3000 will most likely be the favorite of the majority of PSP gamers.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Music Video

Ok, this is a little too weird for me. I believe it is actually part of the game, but at the very least it is a promo for it. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is coming later this year for PSP. Hope you enjoy it more than I did.
