[PSP Review] Unchained Blades
Posted by EdEN in Media, PLAYSTATION Store, PS3 Reviews / Vita Reviews, PSN, PSP, PSP Go, Unchained Blades on August 9th, 2012

In a world inhabited by mythical beings, where colossal labyrinths called Titans tower over the land, there’s a legend that any being who can approach the Goddess Clunea high in the sky shall have a single wish granted. A powerful and self-absorbed dragon named Fang aims for those heights to meet with the Goddess and learn the name of the strongest monster in the world. His drive to find and kill this ultimate opponent and firmly establish himself as the dominant monster of the land is mighty enough to entreat the gods, but his boldness is also his undoing. Disdainful and disrespectful to the Goddess, she strips him of his dragon form and banishes him to the surface. Bereft of the power he once wielded as the Dragon Emperor, Fang must now adjust to surviving in a far weaker body as he navigates the dangerous mazes of halls in his quest for revenge upon the creator herself.
Releases for the Week (June 4th-10th)
Posted by EdEN in minis, PLAYSTATION Store, PS3, PS3 software, PSN on June 3rd, 2012

With E3 in full swing thanks to Konami’s Press Conference before the wekend, as well as Nintendo’s “This is Wii U” presentation from today, it was only natural that releases would slow down to what will surely be a full halt for the week of June 11th-17th, as E3 devours our souls with Round 1 of the New Next Gen wars.
What are we left with for this week? Well, we get one PS3 game at retail, three games on PSN, and a single minis. That’s right, 1-3-1 is how things are going to be for this week.
Will you find something worth your time and money? Let us find out!

[minis Review] Stellar Attack
Posted by EdEN in Featured, minis, PS3, PS3 Reviews / Vita Reviews, PS3 software, PSP, PSP Go on May 22nd, 2012

Stellar Attack expertly blends old-school deep space shoot-em-up action with classic puzzle gameplay. Use your skill and reflexes to destroy chains of coloured orbs and deadly gun turrets.
Eliminate orbs with your coloured lasers to expose the turrets and blow them out of orbit, but avoid the homing missiles and cannon fire that threaten your fragile ship. One missed laser could break your combo in this classic score-chasing action-puzzle game!

Releases for the Week (May 14th-20th)
Posted by EdEN in minis, PLAYSTATION Store, PS2 Classics, PS3, PS3 software, PSN, PSOne Classics on May 15th, 2012

The Payne is back! Max Payne 3 is FINALLY going to retail this week after doing the “release date” shuffle for a while. But this week also has the first Game of Thrones Videogame! Did you pre-order your copy to secure the free HC artbook that will be made available on ebay for $100 later this week?
The Playstation Network will play host to Pixeljunk 4am, a game so trippy it made almost all other Pixeljunk games drop to the floor with their prices! Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode II is also coming down for the party, and Sonic and Tails are ready to run with the flow for as long as possible. We also get Rock of Ages, a game so crazy that it must be fun as well! Jam Live Music Arcade also seems like an interesting take on the rhythm/music genre since you can actually mix all available songs on the go, creating a unique experience every single time.
