PAX East 2011: ‘Shift 2 Unleashed’ Dangerous Corners Trailer
Posted by Ace in Media, Need for Speed: SHIFT 2 Unleashed, PAX East 2011, PS3, PS3 software, Xbox 360 on March 12th, 2011
Shift 2‘s overwhelming gameplay trailer proved that the developers at Slightly Mad Studios understand just how blood-tingling the experience can be from moment to moment, but this latest video is all about the mental side of racing. The trailer has a little bit of a surreal quality as it talks and shows via in-game footage how drivers have to know what they are doing when they enter a particularly complex corner on a race track.
Shift 2: Unleashed will have tons of corner smashing once it’s releases on March 29th, 2011.
PAX East 2011: Homefront Launch Trailer
Posted by Ace in Media, New Releases, PAX East 2011, PS3, Xbox 360 on March 12th, 2011
We’re just a few days away from the breach of the united Korean Army, so THQ brought the game’s launch trailer into PAX East 2011. Trailer seems a bit graphic so watch out.
The game is set in the year 2027, when a united Korea has established a strong alliance in the east. While they’re amassing military strength, the US continued to suffer huge economic decline. The Korean People’s Army then dispatch a major offensive against the once mighty nation, so the American resistance has to defend right in their own backyard.
Homefront launches March 15th in North America and on the 18th in Europe. That’s next week, so those looking for a cool story-dense FPS might want to check it out.
PS3Blog.net Live at PAX EAST 2011

Hey guys, I should be up in Boston in a couple of hours. If there is anything you would like me to check out and report back on please let me know. What I am going to do today is just walk around, take photos, maybe try to grab some swag. I am meeting up with the guys at Turtle Beach at noon so you will probably see a lack of updates at that point but right after it should pick back up. Hope you enjoy!
PAX East 2011: Socom 4 Gameplay Interview
Posted by Luke in Featured, Interviews, PAX East, SOCOM 4 on March 11th, 2011
So earlier today I was over at PAX East live blogging away, when all of a sudden I saw that a bunch of you wanted a video of the multiplayer in action. Soon it seemed like no one cared about anything in the Live Blog except about Socom 4. So since I am a man of the people, I got my stuff together and headed down to find the Socom 4 Booth. When I got there I walked around the booth, had to familiarize myself with the territory in case I needed to get out of dodge. I finally ended up talking to Travis, Kevin and a few of the other characters of Zipper Interactive. I was really impressed with them as professionals, it seemed like they were all on the same page. They just wanted to show their fans a game that they’ve been busting their asses on. Soon I tried the game out, and soon after, did an interview with Kevin the Sr. Systems Designer. From the looks of it, it seems like the fans are really getting into it. I was told that some of the guys are just cycling back after their turn is over to get another crack at the game. Hopefully you guys like the video and if you feel I could have done anything better, please let me know.
