Deathspank: Thongs of Virtue is the second episode of the Deathspank trilogy, and was originally released only a few months after the first DeathSpank game, which I loved. This game is still made by Ron Gilbert and HotHead Games. I purchased this game the day it came out, and since the first one made a huge impression on me, my hopes were high. Let’s find out if this sequel is as fun as the first game!
Sketchcross is a logic-based puzzle that is a take on the Japanese Nonograms puzzles – by completing each puzzle you form a picture. Sketchcross is very similar to the Picross games on Nintendo platforms. The game is perfect for fans who love Suduko puzzles, as the game scratches a similar itch. Or if you like numbers games in general then look no further and read on!
DeathSpank is a trilogy that was released between 2010 and 2011, a series of games made by industry legend Ron Gilbert (who you might recall for, say, the Monkey Island games) and HotHead Games. I purchased DeathSpank (the first game) in a heartbeat after trying the demo several years ago
Since this is a series that deserves a second look, I thought it might be good to do a review for each of the games in the trilogy, in order to make you see why it deserves your time! We’ll start with Orphans of Justice, but reviews for DeathSpank 2 (Thongs of Virtue) and DeathSpank 3 (The Baconing) will also go live in the following weeks!
