[Review Revisited] Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death

Fighting Fantasy Review Revisited - D

Welcome to our second Review Revisited! For this one, I wanted to go away from the AAA release we showcased last time, focusing instead on a smaller but still rich release – Fighting Fantasy: Talisman of Death.

I can remember reading a lot of these “Choose your own adventure” books when I was just a kid, taking notes with pen and pencil about the routes I’d taken on each journey, calculating damage received or dealt, creating a storage section for the items I’d managed to secure each time I played… because these books where games where every choice you make could either lead you to riches or lead you to meet your maker. All of that was present in this digital port, so I hope that you give this game a chance.

[Review Revisited] Tales of Graces f

As our first Review Revisited, I absolutely wanted to present to you Tales of Graces f, the enhanced remake of Tales of Graces, a former Wii (and Japan) exclusive game. I wrote this review back in 2012, and I recall loving each minute I played. It was, hands down, one of the best RPGs I played on my Playstation 3 back then, and I’m still fond of it today.

I finally managed to get the Platinum for this game, after around 160 hours of gameplay. Here is a picture I took of my TV while grinding at the end of the game in the optional dungeon, just a bit before I got my Platinum trophy. Yes, I actually won that boss fight and got 3.24M exp! Those of you that have played this game will know that this is a LOT of experience!

Do yourself a favor, and give it a try! You can also get this game for almost nothing when its on sale on the PSN, and it is even often bundled with Tales of Xillia!

Interested in Tales of Graces f? If so, why not support us and buy it from our Amazon Store?
