Welcome back! It’s another slow week in news but that just means we get to talk about Metal Gear for a good while. MissXya and I aren’t too far in the game so the only spoilers will be for the beginning and some of the missions after that. Hopefully next episode we’ll both be further along so we can continue to talk about it.
I have a feeling that Metal Gear is going to take up a good chunk of my gaming time and I’m going to start a backlog again. I’ve already got Until Dawn and Mad Max on that list, though luckily I haven’t purchased either of those games so hopefully by the time I can actually play them, they’ll have a nice holiday discount.
What about you? What are you playing currently? Let us know in the comments below!
Welcome to another week of the podcast. This week we have a full crew, though the news is short again even with PAX going on. At least being light on news allows for more time for some trivia, which is always fun.
The Phantom Pain comes out in two days and I can’t wait to get started. I think I’m going to spend tomorrow getting a few more extractions in Ground Zeroes so I have more people at my Mother Base when I load up TPP.
What about you guys? Excited for Metal Gear? Mad Max also comes out Tuesday and I’m curious how that will turn out. Let us know which one you’re looking forward to in the comments below.
It’s another light week in news as we quickly approach the release of The Phantom Pain. Reviews have already started to flow in and it’s getting high praise, so I can’t wait to dive into it next week.
This week will see the release of Until Dawn, the long in development choose your own adventure slasher. I look forward to getting into that and see how many of my characters die.
The PlayStation experience is happening in December in San Francisco and I’ve already got my tickets. Though I’m trying to convince some people I know to go along, but we’ll see how that goes.
What about you? Going to PSX? Let us know in the comments below!
GamesCom has wrapped up and there was a good amount of news out of it. Summer Games Done Quick also wrapped up and their videos have been slowly archived to YouTube. Also a big shout out to SGDQ for raising over 1.2 million dollars, which is fantastic.
I mention it in this podcast, but for some reason episode 169 didn’t get posted to iTunes and I’m not sure why. It is of course on here, but I’ll have to look into what caused it to not upload properly.
We continue with the trivia this week however this time we do twenty questions instead. It went well and I look forward to continuing the trivia trend in future episodes.
