[Rumor] Assassin’s Creed 3 Images Leaked

Two unconfirmed, supposedly, leaked images appeared late last night for Assassin’s Creed 3. The banner above was, according to, released early on, and then quickly pulled. Their full screen grab can be seen here.

The image to the left was first released by, who said they received the photo from a best buy employee.

If legitimate, both images reveal what has long been rumored, that the new Assassin’s Creed game will take place during the American Revolution.

Most likely these are real, however we should know for sure soon, as the official Assassin’s Creed Facebook page posted this yesterday as well:
“A major announcement from Assassin’s Creed is only days away. Tune in to tomorrow for more details.”

So details should come at anytime now. We will keep you posted.

It now seems that GOW3 wasn’t the end of our much loved character, as a certain job requirement has sprung up across the web. A listing posted on Creative Heads states that Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) developer Santa Monica is looking for a Senior Staff Concept Artist for a God of War project.
