Mine would have to be a toss up between:
Metallica with Suicidal Tendencies, Fight, and Candle Box(lol) was supposed to have Alice in Chains too, but they cancelled. 8-(
U2
.38 Special, Styx, and REO Speedwagon is definitely up there. The Foreigner show at the Celebrity Theater was really good, too. As was my second row seat at the Billy Squier concert (first row was the roadies; Celebrity Theater is a very small, intimate theater, but has awesome concerts and every seat rocks lol).
There are two: Nouvelle Vague (2007) and Belle and Sebastian (2010). The first was just spectacular and B&S is my favorite band and the show was perfect.
Another memorable one is Paul McCartney (2010). Tomorrow I'll go to a Primal Scream show celebrating 20 years of the album Screamadelica (which they'll play in its entirety) and it's sounding very promising as well.
I saw an Epica show in Dordrecht which was pretty amazing–they held it inside of an old cathedral.
Hmm, I also really like Trans Siberian Orchestra shows. They are pretty sweet light effects.
Rage against the machine's last concert.
Red hot chili peppers, korn, mettalica take a close 2nd. Kiss was also cool at irvine meadows but i didnt care for the band lol. Rage simply destroyed it. They blinded you with stage lights for last few songs and you could only see the shadows of the band, Was incredible.
At least I know the bands Jason talked about, the others not so much lol
I really went to that concert I talked about Primal Scream – 20 years of Screamadelica Tour and it was one of the best I've ever been to! Certainly top 5, great audience and vibes, song was dead perfect and people were so excited, it was a very spiritual experience!
