For my first track let me link to Holly Cole she's a Canadian jazz vocalist. I heard this song from her self titled album the other day "The House is haunted by the echo of your last goodbye". It's a mouthful of a title but that's some classic song writing right there and her vocals were just to die for. I can't find a YT of it but I did find this live performance on NPR

speaking of Canadian female jazz vocalists my second track is again hard to find on you tube. Diana Panton's "I've Told Ev'ry Little Star".
Her vocals here have a bubbly cheerful quality and she sounds just absolutely charming. I promised myself I'd buy this album and I'll probably do that this weekend now that I remember.

There are times when I think the ideal woman is a jazz vocalist. I mean Dinah Washington, Amy Winehouse (pre-op), heck even Adele, and Norah Jones. These are women who exude sex appeal while maintaining their femininity and wholeness as people.
