Post whatever game that has been out at least 6 months, that is in your opinion a must have on PS3 / PC / other not named platform.
If possible also post a link to a (or multiple) site where the specific game is on offer for just a fraction of the normal prize.
Good topic…always helpful to find some cheap deals!
Right off the top of my head, I'd have to go with:
- Borderlands – My personal favorite FPS of last year!
- Bayonetta – My most underrated game of last year!
- Vanquish – Not sure how cheap this can be had for…can't be that much.
Borderlands GOTY, right? Since it has all the DLC and is $40 and thus much cheaper than getting just the game for $20 and buying the DLC.
Any flavor of Borderlands is good! But yes…the more DLC you can get the better. Hence the GOTY edition would be my suggestion
O yea I just want to point out that Right now Gamestop sells a USED copy of Bioshock for 19.99. However WAL-MART has them NEW for only 9.99 on clearance! Very strange, but if You've never played Bioshock pick it up before it's gone! Amazing game!
Also Ironically, Wal-mart has Bioshock 2 for sale 19.99 and Gamestop has it on sale for 9.99 new XD
Gotta do some driving to get 2 fun games :D
My Favorite Series on the PS3, Yakuza. You can now get 3 and 4 for a good price if you look around
Brutal Legend was an instant classic for me, bought it at launch, can easily be found for 8 to 10 bucks
Chronicles of Riddick is a must. A great HD remake of Butcher Bay and the new Dark Athena all in 1.
Stoked and Stoked Big Air Edition are both great and dirt cheap
Sengoku Basara is amazing if you're into the fun and mindless genre that is Hack and Slash
Dark Sektor was another cool game. bought it over a year ago for 8 bucks
those are the games that i enjoyed the most…that happen to be overlooked by a lot of folks
enslaved, demon's soul, vanquish, bayonetta, castlevania,… but I have to clear out my backlog first
I KNOW Musashi!! Brutal Legend was such a great game. Sadly I hear it sold horribly. Thats why if you like a new ip, buy it new to support the series As much as I love used games, it's true it steals revenue from going back to the world. Thats what happend to Enslaved, and thats why I bought Duke Nukem Forever Balls Edition New. Sure I heard that it sucks, hell I haven't played it yet :D But I want to support Duke so that he come back Ballsy and Funny and Awesome as ever.
