Hi my old time 60gb ps3 died on me and there is no way to deactivate it on the xmb…its busted…anyway I bought a new 250gb system and activated it and can not get online and get all my games and can't make purchases. My account is activated on 5 systems because I did gameshare in the past but not anymore. If I go online and deactivate all systems there. Can I reactivate my 250gb system right away with no damage at all? And how?
go to qriocity.com from there you can log in to your original account and deactivate all 5 of your ps3 shares.
Go to Account then click on Media and Devices, and it will allow you deactivate all of your links. Just remember its 2 systems now and not 5.
The qriocity.com link does not work. The only way I know of deactivating your PS3's (I have had to do this 3 times in the past few weeks) is either through your PS3, or by calling Sony. I had the yellow light of death and had to call Sony to deactivate all of my systems and it was incredibly easy-took about 5 minutes.
There is no damage caused by activating or deactivating systems, so you don't have to worry about anything. Good luck!
I know that you can easily activate/deactivate/activate again with no harm done yo your PS3, just got to the XMB>online (not sure about the name, but where you log in)>account management>activate/deactivate system.
It's super easy!
