@wolfkin, i was thinking about waiting for a bit longer incase another one dies or until i really need that open slot, other wise i will just wait, sent my cousin the link to gophermods as well. I'm curious to see what the ps4 will do with this as well, will wait till something happens and i'll then...

since there's a long cooldown i suggest you deactivate the dead one asap. that way if you need one slot you don't have to wait

that's good to know, i just wasn't curious as to how the activation's would flow, maybe doing this at some point if i get a 2nd ps3, and i'm at my max 5 with 1 dead ps3 being on that list

Anything you bought before they changed to two PS3 only.. is still able to be used on 5 different PS3's

um.. as far as I can tell the limit is 2 (or 5) at a time. so if you deactivate all of them you can reactivate on any...

As Oly has said, you can now deactivate all of your PS consoles/portables once a year from the site, which sure comes in handy.

You can deactivate all PS3's once a year on that site now.

Also, no, the account is saved on the PS3 itself, so it won't count as two systems.

Finally, you can only have two machines active now that are able to play games you DL from the store, unless those games were bought before they changed...
