Mp4 playing on PS3, only plays selected files.

Hi, Am a new user. Can someone please tell me why PS3 will only play selected files on my mp4 even though they are all mp3?. I have just recently uploaded some songs which I recorded from tape to 'Audacity' program then saved them to mp3 then transfered them my mp4, which my PS3 will only play. Has anyone got any brilliant ideas on this confusedpleeeeease.

So some .mp4's play and some don't huh? Are they all converted the same way. What codecs are you using? Are you on Windows, Mac or Linux?
