I was enjoying some multiplayer fun tonight and everything was fine until the character's dialog dropped and I started falling through the game like there was no floor. I thought maybe it was lag or something so I quit MP and decided to play through the story mode some. The game wouldn't load pass the spinning dagger and the music began skipping. I look on the bottom of the disc and noticed it was a bit smudgy and had a noticeable line going from one end to the next on it. I was able to clean it off but the game still got stuck on the loading screen and the line was back. I checked on the bottom of some of the other games I've been playing recently , Demon's Souls and RockBand 2, and they all have the cleanable lines on them.

Do I need a new BR disc drive or something? I hope not. Tekken 6 is next week.

Ah! Lens cleaner. Used to use that in the PS2 days. I'll find a BR one.

I've heard stories about using those other types with the cleaning thingies on the disc for a BR lens. Not recommended.

I checked around the net and it seems the game freezes for some other people to. Deleting my game data is supposed to work or buying another copy..or wait for ND to address the issue. I played DS without any problems, so maybe it's just U2. I'm still going to get the lens cleaner tho.
