i just got a lcd tv and when i play ps3 on it i notice aliasing(jagged Edges) in games i never noticed it on sd tv. do all games have aliasing it them?
it could be due to the difference in resolution and the game itself. Some games have bad aliasing issues, while others are generally smooth. What kind of connection are you using? Component, HDMI or composite?
and you went through the system setup as well, right? so your HDMI connection will get all the best possible settings for your setup? if so, it could be the game itself.
Another question would be if your LCD TV is 720p or 1080p and if it's set properly to display at said resolution. Most TVs have an "Info" button that tells you the time, channel and resolution displayed. That could help you tell if something ain't configured right. Could also be the game and the fact that your SD TV was smaller than your new TV.
