Another question would be if your LCD TV is 720p or 1080p and if it's set properly to display at said resolution. it could be due to the difference in resolution and the game itself. Some games have bad aliasing issues, while others are generally smooth. What kind of connection are you using? Component, HDMI or composite?

i just got a lcd tv and when i play ps3 on it i notice aliasing(jagged Edges) in games i never noticed it on sd tv. do all games have aliasing it them?
