Might be a problem with a firmware since, as Jay says, it goes back to factory mode once you turn it of as if it was a brand new console every time.

sounds like the console goes back to factory settings or something, since the controllers wont turn it on and you have to set the date and time. That's weird, haven't heard of that problem before.

So this has happend twice so far. One night I trun on my PS3, (the 160gig Slim model) and I get this screen asking me to put in the time and date. Now everything is working after I put that in, but its happend to me twice so far and I wan't to know if this is something I should be worried about....
