Yes, that was the plan. Wanted to do bamboo on each side of the TV but the model I got was too wide for that.
I swaped position of my tv and ps3 tonight due to the cold air. I heard it's bad fo rthe PS3 cause of condensation? I'd think all the cool air would help cool down the PS3?
HOw many times have you guys vaccumed your ps3/pc in the past 6 months?
I've never done.
Does anybody know where should I vacuum my Slim? I mean, it doesn't have the same kind of vents as the fat one.

Didn't know about this. Hope this help …
I dont know if you are aware but some PS3 models have a self clean
mode. I do it with mine once a week and I have to say I am pretty
impressed with the self clean mode. Basically its just a built in vaccum
inside and it blows any dust etc out the vents. So I do this and then I vaccum like this guy is in that video.
Not alot of people seem to know about this
Thanks Cheeto!
I'll do that when I get home! My room is really full of dust, so I guess I should be doing it all the time.

That is not a self cleaning mode. it's called "Fan testing" and it can damage your PS3's GPU and/or fry the motherboard, it make the fans run at Maximum, and makes your PS3's actually overheat. It also can lower your PS3 life span. If it is not verified by Sony, or on the manual with the system you purchased, then it is most probably something you shouldn't do.
