Hey, i've been playing minecraft at my friend's house on his Xbox 360 whenever I have time. Just thought I would start a topic where people can discuss the game and help each other with any problems they have. Any PC Minecraft or Mobile discussion could be posted here, if enough people join I could even create a group. Anyway I just wanted to add, does anyone have a good strategy for creating a chicken farm? I've been struggling to capture chickens to even get it started.

You could try the demo up on their site, it's just a basic version of the game where you can destroy and place blocks without crafting.

Sure, I've heard about Minecraft, but if I start to play I know I won't be able to do any reviews for a while hahaha.

Minecraft is honestly one of the best and most addicting games ever.. I had to pull myself away from it quick! Every kid I know under the age of 16 plays this often!

I've bought the game two years ago back when it was in beta and have invested well over 200 hours in it (and still counting) !!!
With some friends, its one of the most addictive game I ever played, and I recommand it to everyone !

@Ceidz It is addicting. Sometimes when i'm playing with my friend, I feel like sitting down and playing it for the entire day.

@Hestar It's slowly moving towards that point, i'm just thankful that they update the Xbox and mobile versions for free. The only update I really look forward to is bigger levels, not sure if they'll ever be able to do that though

@kennygk: not only is this game addictive, but my friends have started working a on a few mods since the 1.4 version (PC) launched a few days ago and has a developper API. They have already added a few very interesting modifications !! 😀

@Ceidz Ya mods are really big in Minecraft, not surprising though, just about any sandbox game has a large mod community

I really like the pocket edition, it's really fun, and really helps pass time. Especially like how they are updating it constantly like the PC and Xbox versions. You can see all of the features here. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Pocket_Edition_v.....on_history

No, if you go to that link you can see all the features, they update it really frequently though, so it's almost on par with the Xbox version

@Kane: This game is *very* confusing at first. I remember I was lost at the beginning for a few hours !
The real pleasure with this game is playing it with friends: we are 7 people on the server I play and to see what other people are doing, or helping friends with ambitious ideas, or exploring a new part of the map is the real fun part !

I've heard rumors of an incoming PS3 version, but I really don't know why it's not available yet.
Maybe it's an exclusivity contract with Mojang... ? Who knows ?
