Alphas is not a great show. it's basically Heroes, or No Ordinary Family, it's the same Greatest American Hero formula we'veseen over and over again.
That said they know this.. and they don't try too hard (like Heroes). It's a simple show and they keep it relatively easy to follow and I like that about it. Alphas won't be winning awards or anything but I'm a huge fan and I'd recommend it to anyone.
Onlineyeah that is what i meant. Heroes was good but they tried too hard to make a "good show" and that ruined it. That level of quality couldn't be maintained. Plus it was never supposed to have a consistent cast. Ever season was supposed to star a new set of people. I really think if they had stuck to that plan instead of caving to "People love that first season cast" they might have been able to keep it together but that's a post for another thread.
I do have issues with Alphas like how the black dudes power is that he sweats a lot and is sorta strong. My sister will NEVER let that go. She's about two steps from calling him "Sweat Man" but in spite of that it's very very watchable and I find it over all entertaining. The fact that it links into the incredibly awesome show Eureka via the also good Warehouse 13 doesn't hurt it at all.
I like Alphas for what it is and it doesn't try too hard to be what it isn't. I will keep watching as long as it keeps my attention that is. :)

Woah better then heroes season 1? I'll have to check this out, heroes season 1 was definitely the best season and seems pretty hard to beat.
whoa there let's keep those expectations in check. He said it was better than Heroes AFTER the first season.
This is a fun show and all but Heroes was still fantastic. It just went off the rails faster than DeathNote.

Oh didnt read that part, I just read "Better then heroes" I definitely agree that heroes after season 1 was not very good, except for some episodes, like "Company Man". I still love all episodes of heroes though
