just so we get that out of the way this thread will be filled with spoilers for Looper. It's 1AM so I'm not really up to my thoughts on the ending and time paradox but when you see this let me know if you liked or disliked the ending and why and we'll get into it.

the argument against that is they've established that the gun only has accuracy at very short range and older self was out of range for any accuracy. Hitting the mother or the boy would change things for the worst.
