@wolfkin: I LOVED the second Hunger Game movie, I really can't wait for the last movie (haven't read the books yet to be sure to expect nothing when I go to see it)

@the_nmac lol Jon Hamm, imagine if you could've told your past self that Ben Affleck was going to play batman.

I'm completely down with Ben Affleck as Batman. Affleck was the bomb in Phantoms Yo!. Plus over the past decade he has earned everyone's respect. He should be great. I was pleased as punch when that news came through.

@Wolfkin no i'm okay with Ben Affleck as batman, i'm just saying that no one predicted he would be cast as batman, huge surprise. Also I was just replying to an old comment.

My kids loved Frozen when my parents took them to see it. We don't go to the theaters a lot with 4 kids, but I did see The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug :)

Jessse Eisenberg is going to be Luthor and Jeremy Irons will be Alfred. I'm really liking the cast.

just saw Thor 2: Dark World

now i can start watching Agents of Shield again.

as far as the movie goes.. it's ok. Is it me or are movies seeming really simple. Maybe it's because I'm watching a lot of TV but it just felt.. simple. That said it wasn't bad. I really don't have any complaints.

Oh who do I have to see about getting a blow job for every end credit scene.. because that's a thing right? Thats why this keeps happening. Heck why not just put the credits in the middle of the movie so you can have 40 minutes of end credit scene. Oh snap do it like TV and just show credits throughout the entire film. I just LOVE when essential story elements are left for the end credit scene.

Guys! Watched 47 Ronin the other day. Entertaining movie, but it may feel somewhat mixed... It's pretty much like the latest 300 movie, except that now it's on the story about the 47 Ronin, so I just kept wondering if I would have enjoyed a straight representation of that story more, and if the mystical elements would have been better if someone who's actually japanese developed them instead. I don't picture anyone buying a dvd/blu-ray/laserdisc of this, though.

@wolfkin:
I didn't think the second Thor movie was exactly simple, but at least for a guy who doesn't read his comics the story seemed to be butchered as hell (even though it could be faithful to the source).

I saw "Oldboy" last night. The 2003 original Korean version not the German or Spike Lee versions. Subbed not dubbed.

Basically I enjoyed it. I've always worried it would be too much for me squeamish sensibilities. It was ok. I turned out a few scenes but mostly they were implied which is fine by me. I also apparently didn't understand the spoiler because I didn't get expect that reveal of his crime to be as it was. Which is sort of cool. All this time I thought this dick head spoiled the movie for me in the name of "get over yourself spoilers". I got saved by completely misunderstanding him.

Not sure if tonight I'll watch the Spike Lee version or the original Red Dawn.

Looks like I won't watch movies on theaters for a while, so no Lego or anything else for me unless it remains there for a good time. =/

I saw Hitchcock on HBO that was pretty good. I reall don't know why anyone pays to see movies anymore. Soo many out you haven't seen that are free and good.
