Great topic! Read many things here I did not know before.

I really like Nintendo for some of their exclusive titles and past. I don't own a Wii, but that's mostly because I'm not crazy about motion controllers and, honestly, kid games with not so great graphics.

However, I'm willing to give this one a try, specially if it's backwards compatible, then I'll get all Zelda titles which I love.

lol I'm a Wii hater...not a Nintendo hater :p

Def don't see the wii-mote being bundled in.

They won't need more than 25 gigs ever I'm guessing for their media.

As far as the 8 gig built in flash...disappointing. 100-300mb files would just be sucky games especially when 3DS games cover up to 2 gigs...that means your portable will be playing better games than your console will lol.

There's this thing called SD cards that can go up to 64 GB...

It can also can go up to $120+ for something that would cost Nintendo $15 for place in the console itself.

If this thing launches at $350 and I have to shell out another $120 for storage...I'll be heated.

They won't use harddrives but flash memory, and that's more expensive. I'd be happy with 16 GB of flash storage and a SDXC compatible slot since the 16 GB would suffice for the first year and then I could get a 64 GB SDXC card for $70.
