I have yet to try this. But it's a great premise:

Apparently you can install this on your own server as well.

I've yet to try this, but I have friend that's going to try it for me, lol.

I've been using it since it was in its apha phase of testing(almost 2 years). I would recommend it, even just using the mozilla provided server.

Edit: I love the idea of using Google's servers! I'll give that a go. It'll be like using the old Google Browser Sync FF addon again :D
