I don't get it.. who pirates stuff thinking it's ok. if i pirate something I know darn well it's illegal. At the very fluffy dog turd eating least I'm going to wait to play it after release day. I mean for the sake of my flat-chested Korean mistress I'm already not paying a dime for the game. Do I really need to be playing it early too? I mean wow son.. you can't wait until, heck 3 days after release when pretty darn sure noone will be able to tell who you are (honest vs pirate)? You wanna be that one dick head playing a game online that everyone knows isn't out yet so you stick out like the Trisomy 21 chick in a beauty pageant? One top of that we're talking about the most popular game in the world of the last 3-4 years?

I can sympathize with "pirates". no sympathy for this jerkoff. At the very least you should be smart enough to be playing offline. Noone ever gets caught downloading these games.. it's playing them. Unplug your bloody xbox ya lames.

$5000.. ha that's actually pretty darn payable. Anyone who gets caught the way he got caught should be paying double just for being stupid.

seems too boring to be construed imo. i haven't been reading the blogs but has this story been getting big press? because if this was some sort of inside job this is a company being insanely reserved. Never seen a game company try to fake PR and do it so mildly and so believably. If Activision were to try to fake a story about a pirate getting nabbed I think they'd go big.. this is the sort of thing they SHOULD do.. what they WOULD do is make that fine no less then 25k which gets settled for undisclosed amount, perma ban without a doubt, and there'd be a third element. Something I can't think of but something only a game company would do. Something crazy like maybe he's revealed to be part of a hacker ring or something stupid like that.
