because I like to argue with Eden so much :P Nah just purely spec vs spec.
That's what I thought. How long until he posts something here?
Not too long! Hahaha.
Isn't that table missing all the buttons that the 3DS has as well as the analog circle?
And now, the really IMPORTANT spec: 3DS has Nintendo franchises! That's great for Nintendo fans like me (see the forum rank!) but other non-Nintendo fanboys will tell you it's a con in their eyes.
I'll get a 3DS next year and a Vita 3 years from release.
I agree with the "Nintendo Franchises" bit.
I personally love Zelda and it's only compared in my eyes to the Ogre Battle franchise, those are my two favorite franchises with only a few hiccups along the way.
I'll buy a Wii just because of that so I guess the argument is valid and many others would probably do the same.
yes I am missing the buttons on the 3DS. I'll add them on the master sheet. Nintendo exclusives are old to me. I like the occassional Mario and I like Zelda, but after that its all meh.
I'll also never understand the staunch Nintendo elitism that seems to come along with their games. Its pretty much suggested Nintendo makes the best games period and you're not allowed to retort as to why they don't rule lol.
I think Zelda and Mario are possibly the most polished Nintendo Franchises out there. Some other like Kirby, DK, Metroid are well explored but they lack the same level of work as those two.
i also read that post from kotaku :D.
Personally I think the Vita is easily superior to 3DS, I dont need the 3d gimmick and not a fan of Nintendo exclusives either
Here's something noone seems to bring up. The Xbox360 wasn't the most powerful system. Heck they were slated to be the weak man this generation except that Nintendo deliberately didn't compete. Yet that advantage of being first gave them a HUGE step up this generation that Sony has had to work very very hard to compete against. The 3DS having an entire holiday to itself should prove a very large step up for the handheld market. By the time the Vita is release the 3DS will have finally established itself. By then the games should be flowing, it will have been on the market long enough that word of mouth will have done whatever work it can do for the system. Timing is a big factor.
