@Pedro: I do 90% of my gaming on a portable... at home. The Wii U tablet and its ability of streaming the experience to its own screen is what will make it a day 1 purchase. I'll finally be able to work on my VC backlog while the wife and baby hog the TV hehehe.

My remarks on the WiiU were based on the numerous (and i'm backlogged in podcast so i'm still hearing them) complaints/comments about that WiiU video and how journalists were confused about the tablet controller. Apparently most gamejournos...

I don't consider the iPad portable unless you're a girl and carry a purse around. And the Wii U tablet is range limited, so it doesn't really apply here.

@wolfkin actually, the Zelda HD presentation has been around since E3.

iPads have 3G like iPhones (that's why everyone raves about the iPhone and noone talks about the iPod Touch) and either way playing streaming games over 3G and over Wifi isn't going to work well. As far as I recall OnLive for instance requires a wired connection.

One of the reasons iPads are portable...

that just takes you back to the same WiiU complaints that (imo stupid) people keep bringing up. It's portable.. but only within a range. OnLive is fine enough a concept for at home gaming but on a portable it falls apart.

There was a new Zelda presentation at CES? I'll have to dig that up.
