Out of Nintendo,Microsoft,SonySega,Atari and what not... which 1st gen console was the best?
Yeah i still have my old psOne but the next thing i have that is still functional is my Super Nintendo which has a cable cord to use it..... do lazy to find the Av cables for it.....
Well, 1st gen is going all the way back to Atari, Coleco, etc. so for me that would be Atari.
IF the question is "from 1st Gen until now" then the answer is the NES.
I think he means first generation console of the certain manufacters and definately the playstation 1!!
@Codyz: So I take it you never got to play on the NES then?
easy pick... Playstation one but I think i spend most of time playing dos games..
Probably the Playstation One, it's what got me passionate about gaming and made me decide that it was the industry I wanted to get into.
PSx by far. So many of the best games ever were on that guy.
Too many whippersnapers posting in here. Want to talk about classics? Genre and industry defining games? Zelda, Mario and Metroid on the NES said hi.
haha EdEN, I see your point! but sorry, I grew up on the PS1 and loved it to bits. Only now I find out that many childhoods were spent on Ocarina of Time, so I'm trying to play catch up and realise what all the fuss was about =)
But yeah, N64 was da bomb too, Mario Kart 64 holds sooo many memories for me 😉
oh.. so not "first gen" but maybe "initial console"?
I'd have to say NES or Famicom was the ones for me.
Well, going all the way back I can't tell because I haven't played most of them, but I started with the SNES and while I haven't played much of the other consoles of that period, but because of all the games, I still think SNES is the best of the time and possibly one of the best consoles ever.
I will have to say XBOX.
I've been gaming since the NES and Atari 7800...but the era that blew me away the most was the Dreamcast to XBOX transitional period.
PSX! have alot of fond memories with it
