I have to wait at least a week or 2 due to the back order.
We'll in my long and ongoing search for a new phone and many hours of research and number crunching and visiting stores to get hands on time I had my choices narrowed down to Verizon's Droid Incredible, the Droid X, or an iPhone4.
It sure hasn't been easy as my wireless situation is a little crazy having 2 diffrent carriers and bills. My mother piggybacks on my Verizon service and my mother-inlaw piggybacks on my wifes AT&T service. So one of the last things I had to do was figure out the $$$ aspect of things. And thats when it all became clear…
So much to my suprise after 9 years of ever rising fees, Verizon and I are going to part ways and i'll be joining the "Me too" group of iPhone owners. As much as I liked the line DROID offerings the month to month cost of moving to AT&T was too much to resist as I'll be saving $37 a month.
I'm thinking about getting a new phone as well. The Motorola Back Flip could be it, but that won't happen until december since now I don't have the time nor the money to start things up.
Just got my Iphone 4. I could not imagine using anything else.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S about a month ago, and I'm loving it. Most friends have iPhones, and it does essentially exactly what theirs does.
To be honest, Android and iPhone are very similar.
My phone is great because it's very customisable, and I like that it's not completely tied down, like the iPhone is, in using iTunes and the Apple video codecs and whatever. My Galaxy S plays all sorts of video files (including divx), and music. It also has lots of apps which change the messaging or email or whatever, and is incredibly customisable in this way. It's also got a great screen (I'd say better than the iPhone) and a neat feature called Swype (although you might be able to download an app for the iPhone) that makes texting nicer.
The iPhone is for those who don't want to fiddle with their phone. If you want your phone to just DO things, like messaging, music, calls and internet, get an iPhone.
If you want a phone you can customise more and that is more open, get an Android. It's pretty much as simple as that.
I got the HTC evo and its the best phone out in my opinion…It would be even greater if it wasn't on Sprint…Its sad because where I live I should be able to get cellphone reception on my phone but I can't…
i have the HTC Evo 4g With sprint awesome phone and cheap phone plan im pleassed iPhones only compitions is Android phones
