<p>But I do feel like they&#039;re a bit out of focus on both fields, possibly a compromise you have to take in order to have that kind of resource. Great for casual photographers I think and experimentation too.</p>

<p>Lytro is the brainchild of Ren Ng, a Stanford Ph.D. whose dissertation on light-field technology five years ago...</p>
