Nav controller is just a stick with
- d-pad
- left stick
- L1/L2
- X and O buttons

For the most part it does work just as good as DualShock. same buttons as if you were holding it with one hand. If you needed X and O you'd probably use them on the move controller anyway.

Basically, the Nav is the Nunchuck and the Move is the Wiimote. Using a Dualshock 3 in place of the Nav CAN be a solution, just not a good one since the extra weight throws you off.

The next round of releases (at full price) like Killzone 3 will make use of the Navigation controller so if you like FPS games you might consider investing in one.

Is this controller used that often? I'm thinking about getting Playstation Move, but I want to make sure If it's worth it to buy the Navigation controller as well. What games use the controller? Also what is it's use outside of games (can it be used as a cursor or to scroll through the XMB)?
