But the tekken 6 wireless stick has them at the far left with an upward slant versus the hori fightstick 3's downward slanted face buttons.
Nothing bad, just something I'll have to adjust to or just re-map to the up slanted ones :)
Patch details:
• Improved input response: improvement of the game’s responsiveness to button / command inputs
• Selectable search priorities for ranked matches: players will be able to set search priorities for opponents in ranked matches based on comparable rank or connection quality as well as location
• Optimized data transmission between fighters and spectators: fight data will be optimized in order to reduce the bandwidth load on the host’s console
• Signal strength bars: the signal strength bar will reflect connection quality more accurately
• Chance to cancel match: players will be able to cancel the match before it begins once the opponent’s signal strength has been displayed on ranked matches.
It should be noted that the update is separate from the online co-op Scenario Campaign mode download which is scheduled for release separately this winter. Enjoy!
Oooh! I really like the second bullet point. While trying to re-learn the game I was matched up against people in ranked matches that I had no business playing against and was slaughtered by them. My character at 1-3 versus someone who was 350-273…. Mismatch???!??!
I didn't realize that there was a campaign co-op patch coming too. Guess I need to start playing this again soon (after my daughter starts to feel better and sleeps at night)
The patch is live and now you have the option to chose who you want to vs by country, by connection or by rank. The best part of it all is that they fixed the input lag. I can juggle spam and parry! WooT!
Has the patch improved online play at all?
I'm thinking of picking up this game for XMAS…Tekken 5 was a staple at my house a few years ago.
The Hori Fight Stick 3 caused me problems with responsiveness so it went back and I got one of the Street Fighter IV Fight Stick Tournament Editions during Amazon's Black Friday sales.
Of course, on cyber monday amazon offers the tekken 6 limited edition bundle for $60. I was tired of juggling them though so I opted not to get it. I love the Street Fighter IV joystick so far and just need to spend more time with it now. The buttons feel great and pick up even the slightest taps. I was messing around for the 10 minutes I had and pulled off Anna's throw combo the first time versus many with the hori.
I even learned a new combo. Needless to say I was impressed with it. I even pulled off combos while holding my 8 week old on my lap. Looking forward to working up the courage to play online again after my initial outing with the dpad or hori

Yeah. The patch has helped out tons. The Online is 100% better now. The only thing is that you have to wait longer to find a match because ppl keep cancelling when they see 1-3 bars which is still a pretty decent connection 95% of the time for me.
