Alright, there is apparently an easter egg on the Nuketown map of Call of Duty: Black Ops which
is activated when you shoot the heads off all of the mannequins within a
certain amount of time. The folks at NextGenTactics put together a team

So, the secret is that "Sympathy for the Devil" by The
Rolling Stones starts playing through speakers situated throughout the
map. It's kind of a neat thing that ties the game back in a bit with
their marketing campaign and, of course, I love the song.
But there may be a deeper significance at work here. I'm not talking
about the game itself, but a statement on the games industry and
Activision's place in it. They licensed the rights to one of the biggest
songs from one of the biggest rock bands of all-time to use as a
throwaway tune requiring far more work to access than most players will
bother with. Imagine how much that must have cost. Staggering.

They used it in the TV Ads and its in the game during one of the missions. They only licensed it once, which means they don't have to keep paying for it. Or until the contract they have for the license runs out, meaning they would not be able to manufacture the game again (a second printing) with the song it.
