Hi all,

I\'ve been combing sites online in hopes of finding this info, and am crossing my fingers very hard that one of you might be able to help me. I have a PS3 Slim. I realize it doesn\'t have enough ports to run Dance Dance Revolution, but is there any hardware/software add-ons I could get to make it run DDR?

Any advice appreciated,

Debbie

Well the issue is the PS3 Slim can\'t run PS2 games. Is there a DDR game for the PS3 now? I heard one was coming. Anyway, you can use the old dance pads just fine. Just need a PS2 to usb converter. Doesn\'t have to be that one, any should work fine.

I\'ve done more snooping around and have discovered that there is a DDR version coming out for PS3 in mid-January. When this is available, will it run on the PS3 slim even if I only have 2 ports (I have the 120 GB version)?

Fingers crossed,
Debbie

I actually tried my PS2 DDR games with a friend the other day on my PS3 and there seemed to be a slight delay.

Sometimes it would actually stop registering the pad itself and I would have to unplug and plug it back in to make it work. On the delay part maybe I could try the game setting on my hdtv and see if that would help. But I\'d probably use my PS2 if I where to play DDR again.

The delay has more to do with the pads being connected by a USB adapter than by HDTV lag. Sure the HDTV lag helps as well, but it\'s mostly the USB ports. Same thing happens to me sometimes with a wired USB PS3 controller I own as it seems the info can\'t get in fast enough from USB to PS3 to TV.

My sister told me the pads them self have a delay if hooked to anything but a PS2. Not sure if that\'s true or not. But the PS2 DDR games where unplayable on the PS3 :( The delay was horrible ..
