You know I I thought Uncharted 2 looked awesome, but after watching the video of the demo this game is surely going to be number 1 on the PS3. It simply looks amazing. The graphics look amazing, and the amount of detail is insane. You look at Uncharted 2 and you\'re like how much better can the graphics get and then you get God of War 3.

Can't wait for this game! I still remember the first time I ever played God of War (it was the demo about a month before the retail version's release). That boss battle with the Hydra was epic!

God of War is the responsible for me to come back to the videogame world… I was not playing nothing until a friend presented that to me on PS2… I bought the console, the game, god of war 2 and now I\'m with the PS3 waiting for God of War 3 and have a lot of other games.
GoW is just EPIC.

Unfortunately i haven\'t played the previous God of War games before cuz the 1st and only console i have is PS3. the demo looked awesome really as i checked some gameplay footage on youtube it rocks. I\'m definitely waiting for the ultimate edition and hopefully to get a chance to download the demo and play it very soon.

Looking forward to checking this game out. It is a shame that they couldn't get it out before Christmas because it would move alot of PS3's. I guess the GoW Collection is a good stopgap though
edit: I actually have the demo now from Amazon and it is pretty good. I'm used to playing the PSP version now so I had to re-think how to open doors and boxes :) Dodging via right-analog stick feels so much more intuitive than hitting both shoulder buttons on the PSP ;)

I only had the PS1 for a few days before I got rid of it, it wasn\'t until last year until I got back into console gaming, so I am really interested in trying this out. I know I will end up getting God of War 1,2 and then 3 once it\'s released. I think it would be a shame to miss out on one of the PS best games.

I am sure they would have loved to have released it right before Xmas, but I guess they couldn\'t fit it into the schedule. But look at all the hype the game is getting. They announced the God of War Colletion, then news came out about the District 9 Blu-Ray coming out with the God of War 3 demo and now they announced the Ultimate Edition. It will surely move PS3 units.
It seems that the PS3 is finishing the year on a great note, and it\'s going to pick right back up once the New Year rolls in.

kinda a neat point to that…. I didn't hook up the hdmi cord untill I was in the lava room on GOW2… I was on beams looking down, I replaced the a/c jacks that come w/ps3, w/ hdmi…. INSTANLY an amazing picture…

@yodaddy: Big difference ah? I haven\'t tried any of the GoW games but they do look really good. This is off topic but I remmeber playing GTA IV on SD and then switching over to HD, man what a freaking change! No doubt you had the same experience with GoW2.

I can\'t wait for this game, and hopefully will get to try the demo!!! My 12 yo son is also looking forward to it, so i hope they add a censor option to the game.. thoughts??

I seriously doubt they would sensor this game at all. Even the demo is extremely graphic.

Ya I know… I don\'t neccesarilly need any censor for him, cept if they have graphic nudity or sex as I have heard is a maybe for this game…
He\'s playing borderlands, so the violence, blood and language isn\'t as much of an issue.. lol

In the demo there is frontal nudity. But it\'s on those winged ugly creatures.
God of War on the PSP there was a interactive sex scene. You didn\'t see the \"action\" but you heard it (grunting). It was a hidden \"easter egg\" so to speak.
Come to think of it, there is frontal nudity in every God of War I believe.

I think your right as to the nudity in every game.. He\'s probably gonna have to pass on this one.. lol we\'ll see.. I\'ll play it first and he can follow behind, maybe.. He\'s probably going to still be soo busy with COD MW2 I doubt he\'ll even care.
